SEB AG is one of the largest foreign banks in Germany, providing services as a subsidiary of one of the Sweden’s largest banks Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken.
The bank commenced operations in the country in 1976 with its own subsidiary (German-Scandinavian Bank, later – Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AG). In 2000, the SEB Group acquired the former BfG bank, which was renamed to SEB AG in 2001.
