Berliner Bank was established on 21st June 1950 in West Berlin by the mayor, Ernst Reuter with the aim of promoting economic recovery of Berlin anter WW2. 

Company’s headquarters are located in Berlin-Charlottenburg in a structure that houses most of its departments designed by the famous architect Gerhard Siegmann.
